Many homeless animals in shelters often wind up sleeping on cold kennel floors, old towels, or whatever a shelter is able to provide on top of their basic expenses for food, water, and medical care. But giving even small comfort to scared, homeless dogs and cats can have a positive effect on their behavior and anxiety levels, and by doing so, increase their chances for adoption.
You can help provide brand-new, comfortable, warm, soft fleece pet beds for cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes in shelters across the country.
The beds are made with "Unreal Lambskin®", a durable, comfortable synthetic fleece with a thick pile that gives pets a soft cushion to lie on. Lock-stitch backing keeps the material from unraveling or shedding. The material is non-allergenic, stain resistant, machine washable, and dryer safe—perfect for shelters!
Your kindness will go a long way—$10 provides one shelter bed; $30 provides five shelter beds; and $55 protects ten homeless animals from a bare, hard floor.
From our hearts and theirs—thank you!
Business relationship disclosure: The Animal Rescue Site is offering these pet beds at below market prices in order to increase the number of animals in shelters with warm and comfortable bedding. Although 100% of your gift goes to providing pet beds to shelters free of charge to them, this is not a tax-deductible event because the U.S. manufacturer of the beds is both a major donor to our partner charity, Greater Good Charities, and a sister company to The Animal Rescue Site.
Greater Good Charities has ultimate authority and discretion with regard to the distribution of its funds. All expenditures made are consistent with the exempt purposes of Greater Good Charities.
Please give as many Donations as you can! Shelter Animals need and Deserve to be comfortable and feel loved( until they find their forever home!
A wonderful idea! I have bought houses, some heated, some just snuggly, for all the homeless cats I feed and provide vet care for. The protection is greatly appreciated.
It is easier and more fun to give when it is something tangible that you are supplying. My pets have always enjoyed their beds so a shelter animal would that much more.
