This month's Clear the Shelters Flight to Freedom will transport over 50 at-risk dogs to safety!
On September 13th, in honor of Greater Good Charities 15-year anniversary, we're flying over 50 dogs out of overcrowded shelters in Louisiana and Alabama to New Jersey! Once they arrive, these pups will quickly be adopted into loving homes.
Most of these are at-risk pets and without this Flight to Freedom, they would face euthanasia.
Many of the pups aboard this flight are coming from Acadiana Animal Aid. To Amplify the 15-year celebration, Greater Good Charities’ Rescue Rebuild team is excited to renovate and revamp this incredible organization with a project that will include makeovers of the main lobby and cat room, building a “catio,” upgrading dog kennels, improving outdoor dog play yards, and installing new signage. This will improve the well-being and adoptability of thousands of shelter pets!
This September, you can help fly pets into new loving homes AND keep them happy and healthy during their shelter stay! Your gift will help save these pets and fund future flights. Just $5 helps cover the fuel costs of flying a pet 125 miles towards safety. Please help these pets fly to brighter futures.

In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized just because the shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. Greater Good Charities' Good Flights work to save homeless pets by flying them to shelters where they're immediately adopted.
Greater Good Charities has ultimate authority and discretion with regard to the distribution of its funds. All expenditures made are consistent with the exempt purposes of Greater Good Charities.
So happy to read that Greater Good helps felines not well enough cared for in one state, to be safely rescued and flown to another. We are all responsible for the love and care of animals all❣️
Thank you for doing this. Please contact the NYC Animal Care Centers (ACC). They kill healthy dogs and cats EVERY WEEK after short stays in their centers. They need partners to help their overload. People surrender their pets, not realizing they may be killed after a short stay. Very tragic.
Thank you, to all the pilots and volunteers who help getting precious cargo to a better life! Such a worthy cause.
