During the holiday season, one of the biggest expenses for shelters and rescue groups is feeding the pets in their care. As the temperature drops, already-overcrowded shelters incur extra expenses. When disasters like wildfires or hurricanes strike, food needs become even more dire as additional displaced animals are rescued.
That's why for Giving Tuesday GreaterGood.org is hosting a food drive for animals! Money raised today will provide nutritious meals to shelters and rescues across the country through our programs that feed hungry shelter pets in need. The best part? Healthy, happy, well-fed animals have a much better chance of being adopted!
Just $2 provides 80 meals. Last year, we beat our goal of 5 million meals. This year, we know we can feed even more with your help. Let's make this the biggest #GivingTuesday yet—donate today!
Meet Darla. She's one of the lucky pets your donations helped save last year!
Darla was born deaf, and at three months old she was hit by a car. The accident took one of her back legs and left her with a life–threatening infection. It wasn't clear Darla was going to make it, but then Save-a-Bull Rescue came along. The rescue helped nurse Darla back to health, and your donations fed her nutritious food while she recovered. Even though she was deaf and scared, Darla's sweet personality shone through. Once recovered, she was quickly adopted and now lives with her loving family!
Without your generous gifts, Save-a-Bull wouldn't be able to feed their rescued dogs and support medical care for cases like Darla. Thank you for helping to save Darla's life!
Give a gift to provide millions of meals to save more sweet animals like Darla!
