Yves is in urgent need of your help to heal his broken leg.
Yves is a sweet boy who was only 5 weeks old when he came to the West Coast Dog and Cat Shelter in Springfield, Oregon. Yves was limping when he arrived at the shelter and x-rays revealed that he had a broken back leg. At first it looked like amputation might be necessary, but with a reconstructive surgery we can save Yves' leg and give him a chance at full mobility. With your help, we can get Yves the surgery he needs!
Yves was part of a feral cat colony, but he is growing into a friendly and outgoing young cat. After surgery, the healing process will take a few weeks. Luckily, Yves is young and strong so he should recover well. He loves the attention and will be a very social cat—likely to be adopted quickly!
You can help save Yves' leg. Your donations will go directly to provide Yves with reconstructive surgery and the special care he needs to live a happy life. Donate today to help us meet our goal of $4,200.
Any funds raised over the goal amount will help provide medical care to other shelter pets.
