Sarc is an artisan group in Jaipur, India that has been established for more than 23 years. The group employs people in multiple villages and helps them build sustainable incomes for their families and their futures. By working within the community, this group helps each artisan with their personal goals, like sending their children to good schools.
This artisan group also helps preserve the practices and traditional skills found throughout the participating villages and gives those skills new life in each textile created. Each article of clothing this group creates is a unique work of art produced by the skilled handiwork of multiple artisans.
It really does take a village to contribute to each item’s beauty. Every step in the process—from making the fabric, stitching it together, adding embroidery, dyeing the fabric and applying any number of unique prints and designs—highlights the skills and beautiful traditions found throughout the 25+ villages involved.

I love these dresses. I bought both the lavender and peach. I am 5’1 and 157 lbs. Medium fit nicely except for the length, but at my height, I am used to hemming long dresses anyway. If I could wear heels, hemming wouldn’t have been necessary. I wore the lavender for the luau in Hawaii last summer and it was perfect. I wish I would have worn it for the earlier photo shoot, too.
I bought this dress in a large this spring and love it. It's soft and looks so pretty. I've lost some weight, so it's too big, but it still looks great because it's loose fitting anyway. If I want, I can wear a belt, but I just wash and put it on again. I am going to get it in blue also, as the purple is so cute with sandals or flats.
I love this dress, it fits perfect. I am 5'5" tall and 166 lbs. I ordered an XL and it fits great and is flattering to the body since I have a big stomach. It looks as pictured. The material is a little see through so I wore some athletic shorts underneath, but it is good material. I love how it looks on me and would recommend this.
