The mission of the Peninsula SPCA is to find loving homes for every animal in our care, nearly 1,000 homeless pets annually, and to advocate for the humane treatment of all animals in our community. The Peninsula SPCA remains committed to an adoption-guarantee (no-kill) model, focusing on our three core areas: PSPCA Adoption Center, PSPCA’s Humane Education Learning Center and Barnyard, and PSPCA’s Veterinary Clinic for Preventive Care which offers affordable healthcare, low-cost vaccinations, parasite control, micro-chipping, and spay/neuter services. All adopted animals leave the shelter spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Help your local shelter & pets in need.
Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
