When Santo was found, it was clear he was severely injured. His little face was disfigured from many broken bones in his face and jaw. He was small, scared, and in an excruciating amount of pain. It seemed he hadn't eaten or been cared for in a long time. If he hadn't been rescued, Santo likely would not have survived much longer in the streets.
Sweet Santo was rushed into surgery to correct his jaw. He is currently using a feeding tube in order to slowly regain his health. In time, his broken facial bones will heal by themselves. After being hungry, lonely, and in pain for so long, Santo may finally have a chance at being healed and getting adopted into a loving home.
You can help Santo recover from his difficult surgery. Your support will not only give Santo the hope to keep fighting, but your donation will cover his costly surgery and the ongoing care he will need.
