This is the second Ukrainian wool blanket I've bought

Both are 100% wool in the cranberry plaid, "made in Ukraine" and part of "buy a blanket, give a blanket". When we had a serious cold snap come through here recently, I decided that (the first) blanket would be perfect doubled up at the bottom of the bed to keep my feet warm. If that was the place for the first blanket, it meant I needed one as a lap blanket in the evening when I let the house chill off before bed while watching television. My house isn't short on blankets for either use, but most are polyester and not that warm unless piled in a heap like the mattresses in The Princess and the Pea. These blankets are lightweight yet WARM and I'm so glad to be able to participate in the buy/give program. If I'm cold with central heating, I shudder to think about the people in Ukraine who may not have electricity or heat. Thanks for these blankets and the opportunity to send blankets back to Ukraine.
