On September 19, we're flying over 50 dogs out of overcrowded shelters in Alabama and Louisiana to new homes in Wisconsin on our Flight to Freedom! Your generous support will help get these lucky pets one step closer to finding their forever homes.
The animals on this flight are at-risk pets; without the flight, they might never find their loving homes due to the overcrowding that often happens in shelters. Sending these pets from under-resourced shelters to shelters with empty space in Wisconsin will give them the second chance at life AND the adoption they deserve.
Meet some of the pet passengers on this flight!
Meet Good News!
Learn how this sweet fella got his name. "One morning shelter staff came in to find a small terrier mix in our overnight surrender pen. When kennel attendants went to remove the small dog, a large black and white dog emerged from the dog house within the pen! The big dog approached the kennel attendant and the small terrier just wagging his tail politely. 'Good news, this big guy gets along with small dogs!'"
But the good news kept on coming...
"Days passed and our volunteer who does behavioral testing and evaluation got an opportunity to work with the large black and white dog. It was good news again, he is smart! His shiny black and white coat, and all the good news surrounding him helped him earn the name Good News."
He is ready to share all the "good news" with his new family.
This energetic boy came in as a stray and is looking for an adventure partner. He is ready to explore the world and can't wait to meet his person in Wisconsin.
Every month we fly a group of deserving pets. Help us fund September's Flight to Freedom now! Just $5, helps cover the fuel costs of flying a pet 125 miles towards safety.
In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized just because the shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. We're transporting these pets to shelters where they're immediately adopted.
This month's Good Flight will transport at-risk dogs and cats to safety!

What a wonderful program! You can't find a better way to take innocent animals on euthanasia rolls in many overcrowded shelters and give them a second chance at a happy life in a forever home, than to fly them from these shelters to shelters looking for more animals to give to happy homes. I join with "SC" below in thanking everyone involved in this worthwhile endeavor. I donate every chance I get and urge all animal lovers to donate too! Who doesn't want to prevent the death of an animal for just $5 or more!
I contribute automatically and monthly to this program, and I encourage everyone to do so. You’re literally saving the lives of animals who otherwise would be euthanized in overcrowded shelters. Let’s all give these poor deserving souls a second chance to live.
The Flight to Freedom campaign is a fantastic way to help a large number of dogs and cats from over crowded shelters or disaster areas. I salute those individuals who volunteer/offer their aircraft to fly these four legged passengers to safer territory and the countless number of volunteers ready to accept them and ready them for their forever homes. Thank You!!! I will always donate to this project.
