Funded - Help Leo Heal From a Life of Neglect

When Leo's owner went to jail, the young pup was left alone with no one to care for him. After his foot got caught in a snare, poor Leo was found by a neighbor who quickly brought him in to the shelter.

Despite being in pain, Leo's sweet disposition remained, as though he knew the worst of his suffering was finally over. He was immediately given fluids and pain medication to make him more comfortable, but he needs more extensive treatment for long-term healing.

Surgery is critical to repair Leo's injured foot—without it, his only option is amputation. Then this sweet boy will need several months of care and physical therapy as he rehabilitates with a foster family. Once he's finally healed, he's sure to find his forever home with a family who will love him unconditionally. Despite all the trauma and abuse he's experienced, Leo has been nothing but a loyal and loving companion since arriving at the shelter.
